Psychiatric Rehabilitation assists persons, 18 years or older, with functional disabilities resulting from mental illness. Our goal is to help the individuals develop, enhance, regain or retain psychiatric stability, social competencies with the community, make personal adjustments, teach independent living skills to maintain or gain employment, and provide educational instruction. This is so individuals can achieve the most satisfaction from the environment of their choice and assist them to function as independently as possible. Mon Yough Community Services’ Psychiatric Rehabilitation will occur concurrently with necessary clinical treatments and will begin as soon as clinically possible after a diagnosis. We have planned a program that consists of goal-setting, functional assessment and identification of individuals needs and preferred skills and supports that will produce the desired outcomes of their own cultural environments.
