Adult Intensive Outpatient Program
The Intensive Outpatient program offers and intensive, comprehensive, structured program of group services and interventions that are goal-directed and based on documented treatment plans. Individuals in the Intensive Outpatient program will be seen by a physician for assessment and interventions, medication adjustments as necessary and evaluation of treatment. The Intensive Outpatient program is designed to accommodate the needs of adults with a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders who require more intensive treatment than provided at lower levels of care. The Intensive Outpatient program can serve to continue stabilization of an individual stepping down from inpatient care or diverting from an inpatient hospital stay. Scheduling options vary but clinical services are provided five days a week, Monday through Friday during normal clinic business hours

Patients who take injectable medications such as Prolixin, Halodol, Risperidal Consta and Clozaril primarily use this clinic. Through this program, individuals can access the psychiatrists and nurses for assessment of side effects, medication effectiveness, symptom management and psychoeducaiton. In addition, changes in medications can be coordinated and monitored. Patients may receive either psychotherapy or pharmacotherapy or both.

Clozaril Program
MYCS provides a comprehensive Clozaril program. Clozaril is a medication used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders. Through our program, we educate our individuals, provide supervision and coordinate necessary blood tests.
